Working at the Something in the Water Festival was an exhilarating experience, especially being tasked with building the merchandise booths. My team, and I built the merchbooths, ensuring they exuded a sense of excitement and captured the festival's vibrant atmosphere. From setting up the colorful displays to arranging the merchandise with precision, we created a visually stunning and immersive shopping experience for festival-goers. The booths became buzzing hubs of activity, with attendees eagerly browsing and purchasing their favorite artist merchandise, making our efforts truly rewarding.
However, the highlight of our work was unquestionably the opportunity to build the DJ booth for Pharrell Williams, a central figure in the festival's lineup. Pharrell's presence alone drew immense anticipation, and we were privileged to be entrusted with constructing the stage where he would command the crowd. As we assembled the state-of-the-art DJ booth, anticipation filled the air, knowing that not only would Pharrell be performing, but also his talented guests, including MIA, DE LA SOUL, Puff Daddy, and many more. The DJ booth became the epicenter of the festival, with a pulsating energy emanating from the stage, as the crowd danced and celebrated to the electrifying beats. It was an honor to contribute to such a memorable and captivating main event.
Following the festival's conclusion, our responsibilities extended to disassembling the DJ booth and carefully packing it away for storage until the next year's festivities. Despite the fatigue, there was a sense of satisfaction as we dismantled the structure, knowing that we had been part of creating something remarkable. Our team's expertise and efficiency ensured that every component was safely stored, preserving the DJ booth's integrity for future use.
